● Musculoskeletal and structural adaptations throughout pregnancy and after birth

● Physiological, emotional, and psychological effects of stress on mother and baby

● Contraindications and safety considerations, including high-risk pregnancies

● Proper positioning and draping techniques for each trimester and postpartum stages

● Common postpartum conditions, including diastasis recti, low back and pelvic pain, and muscular imbalances, and how massage can assist recovery

● Supporting emotional and nervous system regulation during the postpartum period

The hands-on practicum provides guided practice for both prenatal and postpartum techniques, helping you confidently and safely support clients through pregnancy and their post-birth recovery. You will also explore strategies for integrating prenatal and postpartum services into your practice.
