This course explores the application of NMT in the assessment and treatment of acute and chronic headaches. Emphasis will be on pain assessment, treatment protocol, trigger point referrals, postural distortions, and treatment techniques for the most common muscular culprits involved with headaches. Through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice, therapists will gain practical tools to confidently work with clients experiencing restricted range of motion, headaches, and neck pain. Students will be trained in various treatment techniques, stretches, and postural & ergonomic improvements.
