This course is designed to enhanced therapeutic massage by adding cupping technics to a massage session. Cupping is an alternative treatment used to manipulate soft tissue, by creating vacuum, stimulating circulation and assist in reducing inflammation. This course includes a vacuum cupping set.

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:

Explain history and define the cupping modality.

Describe the benefits and the contraindications of cupping.

Perform Static cupping techniques.

Perform sliding cupping techniques.

Knowledge of types of cups, proper handling and sanitization of cups.
