Foot & Ankle Massage: Techniques for Mobility and Relief
9am - 5pm
This hands-on training helps massage professionals explore the connection between foot posture, ankle mobility, and lower-leg comfort. You’ll learn how to recognize and address common imbalances such as overpronation, supination, and muscular tension using soft-tissue and deep tissue techniques, Gua Sha, and hot towel massage. Through guided practice, you’ll gain safe, effective ways to integrate these modalities into your sessions to enhance circulation, support mobility, and improve client comfort. The course also covers contraindications, assessment skills, and self-care strategies that make foot-focused work both rewarding and practical. Students will need to provide their own massage cream or oil, linens and seven 16 x 28 towels. Gua Sha tools and a roller tool are included with the class.
