Fascial Cupping Release Therapy
9am - 5pm
Cupping plus active range of motion is a manual treatment that combines negative-pressure cupping over the skin and underlying fascia with guided, patient-active movements to restore mobility, reduce myofascial restrictions, and improve tissue hydration and circulation.
What it is
Cupping creates suction (silicone or plastic cups) on the skin to lift and mobilize the superficial fascia and soft tissues allowing for more blood flow.
While cups are applied, the client performs specific active range-of-motion (AROM) or functional movements to actively stretch, glide, and reorganize fascial layers and improve neuromuscular control.
The therapist sequences cup placement and movement patterns to target lines of tension and movement dysfunction rather than isolated muscles alone.
How it works
Mechanical lift: suction separates fascial layers, reducing adhesions and allowing improved glide.
Viscoelastic change: tensile and shear forces with movement help remodel stiff or densified fascia.
Neurophysiologic effects: combined sensory input from cupping and movement can reduce pain sensitivity and reflexive guarding.
Circulatory & lymphatic improvement: suction and motion enhance local blood flow and removal of metabolic waste.
