Beta Class: It's Not Just the Foot: Solving the Puzzle of Foot Ailments through Clinical Assessments and Hands-on Care

Your client walks in with a limp—their foot is killing them. The structure that hurts is the foot… but is it truly the cause?
This course guides practitioners in answering that question through thoughtful clinical reasoning and hands-on exploration. Participants will examine common foot and ankle ailments using assessment, orthopedic evaluation, and manual therapy techniques to identify contributing factors beyond the site of symptoms.
We will differentiate sources of dysfunction, including plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, Morton’s neuroma, posterior tibial dysfunction, ankle sprains, bone spurs, stress-related foot injuries, and other common causes of foot and ankle pain. Emphasis will be placed on evaluating movement patterns, recognizing compensations, and determining when symptoms may originate elsewhere in the kinetic chain.
Participants will learn evidence-informed manual therapy approaches and practical recommendations for client self-care, supporting more effective treatment strategies and longer-lasting outcomes for their clientele.
